Eh, he’s already got some of his staff put together, those guys can go along with the scouts.

Honestly every damn year we put so much stock into the senior bowl and what has really come out of it? Maybe it’s just not that important.
Has Harbaugh gone to the Senior Bowl when he was with the Ravens
We usually send some staffers to coach. I wonder if we’re sending guys over there for that. I think, was Kafka one of the head coach coaches last year?
Attending Senior Bowl is how we ended up with Danny Dimes. I can see good changes to this organization already.

This is a vast over generalization, but go look back at some old senior bowl rosters, it has a few gems for sure, but it’s a ton of crap.
Which puts into perspective the giants without fail taking 2 guys who do good at the senior bowl every year the past decade.
Probably just delegating who goes as it should be
Early declares have such a better track record of success in the NFL. Not a guarantee by any stretch and in the late rounds you are limited to who is available. However, the first 2-3 rounds of an ideal draft should be full of early declares. Not these Senior Bowl heroes. It’s just better process
You could predict most Giants picks going back years now by simply being a Senior Bowl player. If we noticed you’re damn well sure other teams noticed and could project by who the Giants GM and/or GM focused on there.

I mean it’s not like they aren’t gonna watch the tape on everyone including this game. Draft isn’t for a while they have time to sort all the prospects out. Filling out the staff while 10other teams fight for the same talent seems much more pressing
