Broncos have a bit of a harder schedule and I can't wait to beat the shit out of so many of these teams.

• The Broncos will host the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

• They will also visit the New England Patriots and New York Jets.

• Denver will host the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks from the NFC West.

• The Broncos will travel to face the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers.

• The Jacksonville Jaguars will return to Empower Field at Mile High for a rematch.

• Denver will also travel to face the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Carolina Panthers.

I think we can easily go 14-3 again!!!!

Biggest reasons to BOlieve:

1) Nix year 3 – i think he's going to be healthy and better than ever – climb higher – the Bills and Green Bay games prove he is franchise quality.

2) No more cap nightmare – means bigger signings or keeping our best guys

3) Better Running team – fingers crossed we keep Dobbins (also on my worry list) and Harvey – both studs

4) Likely adding some new weapons

5) Ownership team – I am so grateful

6) Sean Peyton is the mastermind

We are at the beginning of a dynasty – you watch!!!

Okay a few worries

1) VJ leaves!! – that scares me more than anything

2) Will we keep Alex Singleton, JFM and Dobbins – will miss those guys

3) Will the AFC west be even harder? Raiders surely will be on the rise, will the Chiefs get back to the Chiefs?

4) If we keep Dobbins can he stay healthy a full season?

Thoughts on next year?

  1. Wow, some good home games for the season ticket holders. I would bet on the Broncos/Patriots game getting not just a prime-time slot, but a premium day, too. Bills, Jags, Rams, Seahawks, Chargers and Chiefs will also be candidates for premium broadcast slots.

  2. There is no “easily go 14-3” in the NFL. Every year is different, players get older, slower, injured, etc.

31 other teams are all trying to do the same thing and there is no status quo.

We were very fortunate this year to have limited injuries til Nix’s ankle exploded. It’s tough to have everything go your way for an entire season plus playoffs. If we had that little bit of extra luck this year we’re probably in the Superbowl, but unfortunately that doesn’t mean anything for next year. Just have to wait and see!

  3. We got lucky with Carolina and Pittsburgh. Seems possible that those two teams are closer to the worst teams in their divisions next year rather than the best.

Seems like we also lucked out in that a lot of our tougher matchups are at home. Guessing we’ll have a lot of prime time games next year and wouldn’t be surprised to see pats v broncos as the season opener.

  4. Plenty of cap, full set of picks. Very few free agents, set and locked at all 4 foundation positions. Young at 3 out the 4. First rounder should be an OT who can play swing next year, take over at RT in 27, and then move over to LT when Bolles ages out. Dobbins can go. Hes good, but he always gets hurt bad. This year was classic from him. Good news is great backs, off ball backers O weapons can be found on day 2. This team is good because it’s been drafting strong even with the Wilson and Payton trades costing many premium picks. Team can win 12,games next season and be even stronger.

  5. I think we’ll have VJ for another year. As much as I think he deserves another shot as a HC, it doesn’t appear that he is the favorite for any of the jobs he interviewed for. He seemed like the obvious pick for the Cardinals, but they just announced their 3 finalists without him.

  6. Call me crazy but I think we will be perfectly fine without Vance Joesph. If he leaves we should pretty much have our pick at a top tier defensive coordinator (reigning dpoy, top tier defense, good ownership, Super Bowl aspirations). On top of that, Vance Joseph’s defenses seem to struggle whenever we fail to generate pressure, and he doesn’t really bother changing anything — resulting in games like the commanders and jaguars

Plus we get 2 3rd round compensatory picks

  7. I don’t want us to keep Dobbins. He’s too injury prone to last a full season and SB run.

  8. Love your excitement. “Bit of a harder schedule” 🤣 it’s way harder. The 1 seeds get harder schedules the following year (NFL #1 seeds generally face harder schedules the following year due to the league’s scheduling formula. Division winners are scheduled to play other first-place teams, and their strength of schedule is increased by facing opponents with higher winning percentages from the previous season.). Hopefully VJ gets the HC job he wants and we get 2 3rd rd picks and promote jim Leonard. If dobbins comes back, he’s the 3rd back. I personally don’t want him. He can’t stay healthy and that sucks. I like JFM, but there’s a reason we haven’t resigned him. Don’t know what it is. Singleton comes back. He’s the heart of the defense. Anywho, don’t care what the record is as long as we get invited to the dance.

This shit is way too long. Sorry

  9. Don’t feel bad about this year or it’s ending at all. We overachieved. We are ahead of schedule. We might just have a franchise quarterback. We have great owners. I like the coach. We just dropped a metric fuck ton of dead cap space. Looking forward to the future!
