  1. 1) I feel a bit better that the browns HC is not attractive because it shows that stefanski was not issue with whatever tf was goin on over there 2) wtf are the browns doing lol

And to the surprise of absolutely no one, the Browns do Browns things

  3. Browns fan here. Started following this sub because of Stefanski. He 100% wasn’t the problem.

  4. No one is taking that job without firing the GM. It’s the same issue the Jags had last year, no one wants thier coaching reputation tanked by the GM who traded the future of the franchise for a sex pest. Can you imagine how good they could hav ebene if they kept Baker or let Stefanski pick his QB. 1 for 1 they traded Jordan Davis, Jahmry Gibbs and Brian Thomas for Watson. Ignoring the other valuable picks. That’s all time terrible. No coach wants to go to the team with hell at QB position, cap hell, and a GM who made the worst trade in the last decade and the worst contract of all time.

  5. If this doesn’t tell you how much of a shitshow Cleveland is, I don’t know what will. I already liked the Stefanski hire, but the stories coming out about how dysfunctional Cleveland really is make me realize even more that Stefanski was never the problem. The way the organization is run from the higher ups was and continues to be the problem.

  6. Okay maybe I’m out of line here, but if you can’t do a little homework in support of an 8 figure job hunt, maybe it’s a bad fit? If coaches can ask insulting and inappropriate questions in combine interviews to test their character, I don’t see why this would be out of bounds.

  7. Consider that Mike McDaniel withdrew from consideration for the Browns head coaching job to take an offensive coordinator position with the Chargers. That’s one helluva statement.

  8. Browns fan here. ScheelHaase is interviewing today and Udinski already was interviewed, so if you read the team leafs it seems like Udinski knows it’s gonna be ScheelHaase and trying to save face for his next job, typical agent stuff. They already interviewed Udinski for a second time on Friday, if they had to have him they could’ve offered him the job already

  9. As a Browns fan, ive spent years arguing against the mob that wanted stefanski fired. Ive always said that he will have offers before he leaves the parking lot, bc as stupid as fans are, league insiders and officials arent. And inside league circles im certain everybody knows what a shitshow cleveland has been…

Stefanski deserved so, so much better than the shitshow he got to work with here. And as a thank you for your service hes fired as the fall guy why the GM who is bungling this HC search got to stay.

  10. Anyone know how I can apply? I’ll go be the scapegoat shitty coach that lasts 3 games and gets paid a million bucks for it.

Plus, hiring a guy with zero knowledge on being a coach would be such a Browns move.

  11. Ok I’ll apply. I’m a good middle manager and make great PowerPoints. Send me the Indeed link, please.

  12. But but but the culture!!!! /s

Yeah the culture in Cleveland is a nightmare plus you gotta deal with Shadumbass at QB.

  13. Making them fill out questionnaires and personality tests. Are they aware that they are the Browns?

  14. Sort of a media driven narrative

    1. Udinski walked as a face save bc the Browns leaked last week a this weekend that Scheelhaas is the guy and they’re in LA today to interview and expect finalize.

    2. Minter walked bc he took the Baltimore job hours after he announced he was pulling out of Browns.

    3. McDaniel also bailed on the Bills

I like Kevin for you guys — but not sure it has to be “browns are incompetent” to make Kevin a good hire.

Don’t always believe the national media narrative — browns have had their eye on Scheelhaas from the start and I’m sure agents and insiders knew that and advised people to pull out etc accordingly.

  15. Also a browns fan and I’m not here to hate but the fans coming in saying it’s 100% not on Kevin are just misery lovers which is a good chunk of our fan base.

He wasn’t the whole problem but he had a large say in what the offensive identity was, who we drafted, who was signed in free agency etc. He was elite when we had a top 5 O-line and Nick Chubb, but as those went south so did his coaching. No matter the roster, having historically bad offense as an offensive head coach is bad, and we did for two years in a row.

I think Kevin could be good because you guys have a better roster offensively, but it’s not a sure thing, he had a hard time evolving the past few years so that will be interesting.

As far as the coaching situation, if we don’t get Nathan Scheelhaase then this is an actual story, but almost every browns insider that doesn’t feed off our self hatred think this isn’t lol browns but individual circumstances, McDaniel wanted to be an OC for an elite QB, Minter already had the Baltimore job, Udinski knew he wasn’t their top choice. Not to say we are this awesome landing spot, but we have an elite defense, a cash rich owner, and no expectations for atleast 2-3 years, it’s honestly a decent spot for a young upcoming guy.

  16. Brown’s HC requirements: multiple questionnaires, essays, personality tests, and additional assignments.

Brown’s QB requirements: <28 sexual assault accusations? Ok.

  17. This speaks volumes it’s only 32 of these jobs and not 1 but 3 people have turned this one down must be a real shit show behind closed doors. Hope we get the same results The pats got after Tennessee let Vabreal go because that was also stupid

  18. So they fire their first good head coach in decades, and then they do this shit. I hate being a Falcons fan but at least I’m not a browns fan.

  19. We’re brought in Stefanski because we were convinced it was the browns and not him that was the problem. This is only makes it look like it was more of the browns than him

  20. This is like when shitty companies invite you for a interview and give you a “test case” but then they just take your work and don’t hire or pay you.

  21. Their next coach will be Dion Sanders since he will be the only one who will agree to starting Shedeur at QB
