  1. I like the 4th down call I don’t like the play call. I had no idea of the blizzard so I didn’t mind the call. Would have ended the game with a little room for error if we don’t get it. I don’t hate it.

  2. But regardless even if we win. We get blasted in the bowl. I was texting my group like this feels all pointless without Bo. Like it’s just about waiting on the other shoe to drop. Conversely the small silver lining is questioning Bo’s value is not a good look lol.

  3. What’s the point of having the game at home if you can’t have some guy watching the weather reports and telling you it’s gonna get hairy in an hour? It was already a notably bad weather weekend anyways

  4. There is a force field of awesome around New England that makes guys who think they are smarter than the room overthink and that leads to self destruction. It’s as part of the culture as do your job. It happens over and over such is the mystique

  5. I am a Chargers fan. And I remember several years ago Brandon Staley blew about six games I would say, going for it on 4th down. I think with all of those games we lost by three points. I could be misremembering.

But as Bru said, it's like a lot of these coaches feel like three points are not valuable. Every point is valuable. Me and several friends have been talking about this very same thing in many games. Last week the Bears bypass three field goal attempt. If they had attempted and made one of those, they would have beat the Rams by three points. The last one I give them a pass on, because the game was almost over and the Rams were winning by three points. I could understand that one. But early in the game it's exactly what this panel mentioned. You're going against Patrick Mahomes you got to get touchdowns. You're going against the Rams you got to get touchdowns. And now it's like you're going against anybody you got to get touched down. Early in the game take the points as they come. And then at the end of the games you do whatever you have to do to win. But don't bypass points early in the game cuz you want to stockpile touchdowns. As we have seen, even from the Rams, the chiefs, and the buffalo bills, those first downs are not guaranteed. And quite often you lose these games by three points or less.

These coaches are losing these games with these calls.

  6. This is the 1st time i agree with Nick but it's an easy take on the 4th and 1. Everyone with a brain would have taken the 3 points in that situation being up by 7 at the beginning of the 2nd quarter

  7. you're talking like you think the field goal was an automatic. The way that field goal kicker was kicking it was quite the opposite. Lousy second half play calling cost them a game they should have won. I would fire the coach and grab the bills ex head coach and fire the file goal kicker and bring prater or even pull Elam out of retirement, better than this clown who cost them points.

  8. Because the Broncos scored so easily so quickly on their second possession Sean Payton being so arrogant in himself and his backup QB gamble and lost the game for his team !

  9. I feel before they called the timeout. They probably had good chance of picking the first. But after that timeout the Pats knew exactly what they were goin to do. And Sean Payton second guess himself he had run play at first and switch to a pass. If you’re going to second guess yourself. Kick the field goal. But everyone talking about this play. But not how bad Stidham played in second half. And also Denver not stopping Pats in the opening drive of second half. They took nine and half minutes off the clock. For me that’s when the momentum shifted.

  10. Living in the UK knowing 7 people had died and what 800,000 people without power how on earth can you not know the weather is horrendous and you are in the middle of a horrendous storm.
