Mikal for jrue no one would make that swap straight up… unless we also get the bucks picks they have… Now it all comes together.
I think we are underselling Mikal by farrr. He hasn’t shown up the way he should I may be more interested in parting with Hart. I’m also not convinced we hired the right coach. The age is a problem, injuries and salary.

Diawara was never on a two-way. He’s been on a 2nd rd rookie minimum since training camp. They currently have an open roster spot (they’ve had it all year). Once they can swing it cap-wise, they should sign McCullar to that and get Dink Pate on a two-way.

Maybe Duece is out in a Giannis trade and Jrue is replacing Duece in a separate trade
If Knicks are healthy this post-season they will be fine. That said I would like add Slo-Mo and a second ball handler so it's not Brunson every single trip down.
Holiday and Slo-Mo would do it, not sure where Jrue's at with injuries though.
This whole Drew thing is wild, he’s 35, makes 33M this year, 35M and 37M the next two years. Mikael is 6 years younger (on JB’s timeline) taller, has a much longer wingspan, is more athletic, and we used 5 firsts to get him. Are we going to gift Mikael to Portland for a washed up, injury prone Drew Holiday, who is likelier to get worse and less athletic in the next two years, and will be undersized next to JB. Glad none of y’all work for the FO!

His numbers should be better, he was averaging 17 8.5 and 5 before he got hurt, and has been on minutes restriction since he’s been back. At his age, he’s still a way better player than bridges. Jrue helped Bucks and Celtics to win the chip when traded for, should be no surprise if knicks trade for him if they are trying to win.
That trade is crackhead level.
I like Jrue but the cost and return for the cost doesn't make sense. Only 1 distant 1st rounder back isnt enough to have the Bucks bite on Towns. I heard they really like Bridges so Im not sure why you shot so low..in terms of picks. I was thinking the key benefit to this trade would be to allow us to gather enough picks so as not to have to give up Deuce to the Bucks for Giannis.
