The football HOF overhauled their voting system last year to make it more exclusive, and the irrational Giants fan in me is convinced they did that on purpose to screw Eli over. As a Pats hater I think it’s funny that it results in this consequence as well.

This makes me feel even better about the fact that Eli hasn’t been voted in yet and probably won’t be for a little while. These voters have personal vendettas and biases and definitely bring them into the room when they’re deliberating and voting.

Yeah this is insane. Bill is borderline HOF for the big blue wrecking crew alone.
It’s all revisionist history to act like it was all brady, just as people act like it was all LT for our two superbowls with him. Every superbowl they had a top 10 often top 5 defense. His special teams were amazing. He was the GM assembling the entire dynasty often from scraps with last picks all the time. He molded guys like brady or edelman who’d be backups into legends. This is all just revisionist hiatory because brady won superbowls with the super team buccs so people act like he carried them, which is insane. Hell half of their superbowls brady was far from the Tom brady hed become, they won atleast 2 with objectively bad games by brady. Like beating the pats was so good less because of beating brady and more because of beating bill.
His only black mark is the cheating in spygate, but it was far from just the pats, and its clearly not the reason for his 15 years of dominance. Dude had Matt Cassel 11-5 and if not only the 2nd team to ever miss the playoffs with 11 wins, good shot he gets them to the superbowl or atleast the AFC championship given its bill.
This is like not having brady by 1st ballot and pointing at deflategate and bill as the sole reason he was good.
I hate the pats as a new england giants fan. Yet bill is the greatest coach of all time, at the very least the modern era. Keeping him off is utterly insane and has now completely tanked any last shred of legitimacy the HOF had. Its worse than the rock and roll hall of fame now. Like my god i never thought id be so insulted on bills behalf.

The coach of the year award should seriously be renamed. But there are perople that believe bills success is solely tied to TB as of late…so they question him overall.
