He just looks like a shell of what he did last year. Even after the Luka trade he was great, except for a small stretch when he had an ankle issue. Gafford and him have been in an out of the lineup with injures. They just need to give them a long stretch out to fully heal.
I’ve seen a fair share of bad PJ offensive games, but usually makes up for it with awesome rebounding and defense. Even that has looked abysmal the last two games.
At least he’s no longer a negative asset. He looks like a very good role player with great defensive skills.

I have faith PJ will turn it around, I think he’s just going through some personal stuff and probably still has some nagging injury issues as well.
I’ve just seen too much consistently good basketball from him to suddenly turn on him and say he’s not good anymore.
Honestly just doesn’t seem like PJ gives a fuck about basketball right now.
hopefully he can raise up his value enough to be traded for an expiring deal and a second round pick?

there was a post last year against philly where ppl were dogging caleb but it was clear AF they werent watching the game because i said PJ has been selling for a while now & all the fanboys / casuals downvoted me to hell. he stood on business for two fucking months & now we got the full PJ Washington experience in Charlotte. we know why they were so willing to let him go now.
bro is absolutely horrible on this team now, makes cooper worse (ive looked at their data together), and consistently always loses the lead / comeback momentum anytime he gets subbed back in. usually kidd brings him in around 9 mins in the 4th & shit blows up. looks like kidd brought him in around 5 mins last night.
i’d rather credit Kidd with keeping our tank alive vs pretend PJ has the best intent for the future of our org. he got paid, he looks completely disinterested, he said negative things about the fans post trade & while the chants were going on & his body language / performance on the floor is complete ass.
i just hope he looks decent so we can shop him in the summer for a FRP. i’m beyond over this dude.

I generally had to Google who #25 was last night cause I thought it was a two-way player or something they called up. I didnt even recognize him last night he was so bad.
The concerning thing is his foot speed. He gets blown by regularly and when you are not a consistent offensive threat and then turn the ball over on simple possessions it’s going to cause issues. He’s still a good shot blocker and rebounder, he’s just simply too slow to be a wing defender. They honestly look better without AD, Gaff and PJ on the floor due to how much they slow down the game. They obviously lose some shot blocking and rebounding but I think everyone else makes up for it. Could be just some niggling injuries slowing them down, but this team clearly plays best with pace.
He was massively inconsistent last season too and even had a couple of zero point games. The beginning of this season was the most consistent I’ve seen him.
Any takers for a PJ trade ??

Caleb Martin is trying to salvage his career from the wastebasket and endless Mavs fans disrespecting him. He did look washed to be fair to us. I am thrilled to see him bounce back. We need him to be good in the coming years.
I hope Milwaukee is desperate enough in the offseason to trade one of their picks for PJ.
