I hate the salary cap. The NFL's parity excuse was B.S. The real reason the cap was put in place was to save the owners money. They did not want the high salary of the MLB. However this means it is harder to hold on to all your superstars and or build a dynasties. The cap came in place in 1994, had it come a decade sooner who would we have lost to the cap restrictions if you're keeping LT? Banks, Barvo, Engrim?

the cap space isn’t what’s fake… it’s a set number every year that you have to meet. the fake part of the process is the contracts themselves. that’s what being manipulated. you can press a button and rewrite an entire contract to fit the cap.
