HomeRun Hire for The Ravens

Rumors are circulating that the Baltimore Ravens are set to hire Dwayne Ledford, former Atlanta Falcons offensive line coach — and in this quick breakdown, Coach Evans explains why this could be a major win.

We dive into Atlanta’s run-game tendencies, showing how heavily Ledford leaned into zone concepts, how efficient his offensive line was in run blocking, and why his teaching style could be exactly what the Ravens need to revive their ground game.

Using film examples and analytics, this video shows how Ledford structures outside zone, manipulates defensive boxes with motion, and consistently creates clean running lanes.

If you’re looking for insight into what this potential hire could mean for Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry, Keaton Mitchell, and the Ravens offensive line, this is a must-watch.

  1. If this Dwayne Ledford rumor is true, this could be a huge upgrade for the Ravens run game.

Do you like the idea of a heavy zone-based OL coach in Baltimore?
Should the Ravens lean more into outside zone moving forward?

  2. Man this why we needed a fresh mind running the show, nothing but great hires and non of that only based on loyalty hire bullshit like with Zach Orr.

  3. This is a good hire for the olineman we have on the team minus faalele. The Falcons invest in there oline as well, with Lindstrom as the top right guard in the league. Hopefully he can help linderbum and Roger to up there play

  4. Im excited about this hire if we get him, but more excited about the defensive side getting some attention in my opinion we could score but the defense was letting teams come back from 2 tds behind….

  5. Hey Coach, So I just found a bunch of video interviews of Jesse Minter from when he was with Michigan as DC. They are on a channel called "@JamesLight" on youtube.
He's talking about game planning. I'm telling all my fav Ravens Content creators.

  6. What a coincidence, this guy Ledford specializes in zone running concepts and it just so happens we have one of the best zone runners of this past decade in our backfield. I don’t want to get to excited coach, but I think bringing in Ledford is just the start of minter setting the stage for a guy like sheelhaase to come in as oc, or at least someone with a west cost offense background. The shannahan offense is rooted in zone running concepts, so Ledford and possibly a sheelhaase would have an easy introduction to one another scheme wise

  7. Question is how do we get rid of Vorhes and Filleahee? Trade or Cut or what? Thanks Coach appreciate your time. I ain’t rich but I can definitely 👍 and share!!🎉
