  1. Ortiz is a good fielder but not anywhere near the Gold Glove conversation. Not even a finalist. Good glove. Not Gold Glove. And his bat is brutal. He’s a weak spot on a pretty strong team.

  2. Did the Brewers make any moves in the offseason??!! I mean, are we ever gonna go all in on talented players out there in the market?! 😢🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

  3. For this coming season the infield will be the same, if Joey O doesn't turn it around I could see the Brewers doing a Monasterio to Pratt transition for the longer term shortstop.

Any Brewers fans panicking about Luis Pena and Jesus Made, I think Made could split time at 3rd at some point in 2027 then become full time 2nd base depending on the Turang situation.

  4. Chuck I'm going to suggest a topic that I would like you to cover in a future episode. I really feel like you could break it down better and more honestly than most. With the crazy and insane spending that some teams have done this year I wonder what the luxury tax is going to do for the smaller market teams, I read somewhere that if the season started today the dodgers luxury tax would be $160 million dollars. Help us understand how many teams are going to break that luxury tax threshold and how much could actually come back to namely our Brewers. Also compared to how much they received in the last few years.

  5. Joey. He was a 100 OPS+ hitter his rookie year, and a top 5 fielding SS last year. I want to see if we a combination of that guy. Would be very foolish to just pull the plug.

  6. I honestly think you are missing the Garrett Mitchell and Jett Williams connection. Mitchell can't stay healthy. Jett could be his replacement at center.

  7. Brewers are making money, but they also don’t have a TV deal. Zero guaranteed dollars. Dodgers have a $325 million dollar deal. Was that mentioned? lol.

  8. Baseball is a business and the Brewers are great at it. Free agency is "mostly" a suckers bet..the Brewers brain trust knows that and that's why they seldom play that game.

  9. Every trade the Brewers made and every player they didn’t resign going back to Moose pretty much was the right move. Whoever wrote the article is a clown .

  10. Turing is a great second baseman. Don’t mess with him. Besides, last year he had an arm issue in spring training while playing SS.

  11. Chuck you are so wrong. Jett isn’t on the 40 man yet. He’s also going to CF because of his defense. Ortiz will start opening day at SS.
