And it reared its ugly head at pretty much the worst time in his whole life…
Well that doesn’t sound good
I guess the physical, at the draft, can’t find everything. But the article (Sean says) its corrected and will be ready in 12 weeks. Probably will have to wear a higher shoe to support ankles.

Man, the people in the nfl subreddit are really stupid, huh? just making jokes about this and making dumbass assumptions. If the doctors say he’s going to be fine, then he is going to be fine. The headline is click bait, too
we got our guy. hes going to be better
He’s gonna be fine guys, relax.
Rex Ryan would’ve noticed this condition sooner
> Payton said he has no concerns about Nix’s health going forward even though Nix has had several ankle operations going back to high school.
All the fans are making this a bigger issue. Elway played without and ACL and did fine with a brace. Bo will just have to wear different equipment and different tape job. If you want to worry about any player on the team…Pat Bryant is a bigger concern.
Begging some of you to actually read the article, it’s a clickbait title. They said it was an injury bound to happen, yes. But the doctors cleaned it up and none of them foresee a future issue.
That makes me worry if the other ankle is predisposed as well. Not sure why they would put that out in public if that is the case as players could target it at the bottom of a pile.
Then his other ankle is gonna go at some point
So…. He’s always gonna break his ankle? Is he injury prone ?
Steph Curry 2.0?
Clickbaity. The injury was coming but it’s happened now. His ankle isn’t permanently predisposed to injury.
Most likely, because Payton mentioned orthotics, is that he had some weird arch or something that puts extra stress on his ankle. Payton said they “corrected” the issue in surgery as well. Theres a YouTube video that mentions how he likely suffered a medial malleolus fracture from eversion force (his ankle rolled inward). The orthotics angle makes me think he has a chronic imbalance in the ankle that they corrected in surgery and will use orthotics to keep it in balance when he plays.
Great, now insurance won’t cover it. Thanks coach.
Time to trade him for a draft pick….. /s
Unfortunately, that makes him a liability now.
Get some RB and WR help for Bo.
This is his third ankle surgery. Ankles are a pain in the ass. They can say all they want that they don’t anticipate further issues but this is going to be something to keep an eye on going forward. Look at how often Mahomes is playing through an ankle issue in the playoffs for proof
Keep dobbins for 1 more year then get Ahmad Hardy when he declares for the draft
And ankle issues can clear up, ateoh curry used to have awful ankles and since he made some changes, they really haven’t been bad
Make it a bionic ankle, and while at it, do the same on the other one.
