  1. I've been pretty adamant about this in your comment section. If Caleb Downs is sitting there at #7 you take him. I witnessed every snap of his career.. He's special. Probably the best overall player in the draft.. The new DC Moore could deploy him anywhere he wants. Downs has zero weaknesses. Literally, like having a QB on defense.

  2. 13:25 if you think Downs is better than Ban you’re smoking something. Ban was the leader of Miami team by fare. Ban is the reason Mesador eats. Mesador gets out of space wayyyyyy 2 often.

  3. 15:00 Reese is beast but I’m skeptical because he played with 4-5 stars all over that team. How does he react when he doesn’t have the Beat DT and DE creating space for him to move.

  4. 17:03
    1) Ban
    2) Love
    3) Downs
    In that order.
If you get Reese good but I believe he needs to be on a team like the Rams so he can be free in backside pursuit and rush on third down. In Washington he’s going to be excepted to take on blockers a lot often.

  5. Sean Taylor 6-2, 231, 4.51 (5th pick); Jake Reed 6-3, 213, 4.62 (68th pick); Kyle Hamilton 6-4, 218, 4.59 (14th pick); Derwin James 6-2. 215, 4.47 (17th pick). Nick Emmanwori last year, 6-3, 220, 4.28 went #35. Caleb Downs 6-0, 205, 4.45 at pick #7? Fools gold, no thanks. I can't believe I'm finding myself thinking this, but Mel may be on to something. The only truly transformative pick left at #7 looks like it might be ND RB Jeremiyah Love???? Wash has lots more pressing needs on defense and at WR2, but they can better address those with Daronte Jones, free agency (like Kam Curl, Quay Walker, Devin Bush), and later rounds. Love might be the only real difference maker FOR THIS TEAM if he’s still there on the board at 7. A healthy Daniels, McLauren, and Love…wow! AP and DQ have swung for the fences with the Coordinator choices, why stop now?

  6. Washington will prioritize enhancing their pass rush capability, even if standout players like Downs are available. Safeties and cornerbacks depend heavily on a robust pass rush, as both roles are interdependent. A strong pass rush limits the quarterback's time, leading to ill-advised throws, and this is where the secondary reaps the rewards by capitalizing on turnovers.

  7. Im not trading down for maybes. Baily and Bain are my two to choose from and I'm sticking with the best edge rusher non of those look good. This is why winning against the giants and eagles really hurts us. Because if we lose we have the 1 or 2 pick then we could trade back a couple of spots. But now no real reason to. Washington should take the best player available which should be Bain or Bailey. Washington can't take flyer players. Ohio got destroyed against Indiana and I saw the players who are available from Ohio. And I am staying away from them completely

  8. Who this dude pay off to get on the show. LBs aren't seen as an absolute value in the first round? What? Do you watch football? And Allen is horrible in coverage.

  9. Would only trade down if Reese, Downs, Bailey, and Bain are gone. If one of those 4 are available you take em. If there’s a partner to trade back, would want to move to a position where we’re confident Sonny Styles will still be on the board. Those are the guys. If we go any lower then we’re staring at CB.
