How do you think CJ should take this answer from his GM as he preps for his fourth year (considering this offseason is when teams typically decide to offer the extension to their rookies or just pickup your fourth year)
Credit to Kim. Y Davis for asking that great question. Apologies if the quote has already been posted.
Nick Asked If Team Is Doing Enough To Develop CJ

Is CJ doing enough to develop CJ? We are talking about a grown ass man here. In addition to what the org can do, what’s CJ doing?
He getting with a QB guru to work on his shit mechanics? Is he with a sports psychologist to help him get past this mental block he has in his head?
I trust Nick but he has this arrogance about him that irks me. I wish someone would just rebuttal and said we trusted you when you said we didn’t need to worry about the line and that was obviously a major issue at the beginning and throughout the season.
This were can’t do any wrong towards the media when this organization hasn’t accomplished shit rubs me the wrong way. There needs to be accountability.
I was just re-watching [the end of our last game with the Jags](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG_x2sBqLU0) this season and couldn’t help thinking if CJ was out against the Patriots we’d probably be prepping for the Super Bowl right now. I’m sure the thought has crossed Nick’s mind too. Hopefully he really does ensure he can field the best team to win big games moving forward.
Failure to execute isn’t the problem, it is a symptom of the problem. Your guys aren’t executing either because they cannot or because they aren’t being coached properly. We just have to do better isn’t a solution.
did he just shift the blame to the defense at the end? goddamn it
It’s everyone else’s fault but CJs – the line, the receivers, the OC, the GM, the run game, injuries, the QB coach, the list will go on forever
Kim’s questions were really good the entire season. She also often pushes back to get a more complete answer, just like she did here.
The correct question should have been are you putting the QB in the best place to maximise his talents.
The answer is obviously no, but Nick will never admit he’s wrong when it comes to **’The Patriot Way’.**
CJ just isn’t the guy. I thought he was after his rookie year but he lost his confidence. Confidence is hard to repair.
This team will never win a Super Bowl.
You can’t watch those last two games and tell me there’s nothing wrong with CJ.
Great question. Inexperienced OC and QB coach and Nick continues to give word salad answers.
