  1. David Shaw should also be considered. Plus he does have ties to the Harbaughs, as he was Jim’s OC and eventual successor when he coached at Stanford.

  2. according to jeremy fowler, scheelhaase is staying with the rams next season so top candidates would be webb and weis jr, ik webb is most likely to stay at denver but he wouldn’t be calling plays there whereas here he would be so maybe that’s enticing to him?

weis already rejected the eagles (my man) but maybe working with dart again and a salary increase would be enough to convince him to come, just gotta wait and see but please don’t hire roman

  3. Hell no to Taggart calling plays.

Of course I’d be happy with Webb, but I actually think Weiss might be the best fit

  4. Taggart I have to believe we’ll be the RB coach, even if he is overqualified. I highly doubt they’re going to hand Dart over to him.

  5. I’m surprised to not see Kliff Kingsbury on this list. I feel he would be great for Darts development.

  6. Greg Roman is the most obvious pivot, and while fans will hate that suggestion, it wouldn’t necessarily be a bad move. Roman historically has success under a Harbaugh. The Ravens had the 1st ranked offense under him in 2019 and he was the OC for Lamar’s first MVP.

I’d love it if we could land Webb or Weis Jr, but Roman is the most obvious fallback plan for Harbaugh.

  7. Listening to the Webb audio clip in the article, it made me a bit excited about how he can work with QBs. Not sure if it’ll translate to being an OC, but it’s encouraging that he sounds like he would focus on making sure Dart develops properly and there’s good communication in the QB room. Webb and Winston coaching Dart may be one of the better QB situations in the league.

  8. Why is no one mentioning Kingsbury as an option?  The dude was a bad HC but he has shown more than once that he can cook up a high powered offense with a mobile QB.
