Was scrolling on IG and saw this. Quick reminder that this dude plays for our team, imagine he became the bust that many people had predicted him to be, this team would be down-under right now.

i took Randy Moss, Adrian Peterson and Kevin Garnett for granted. Very conscious of not doing that with Justin Jefferson and Ant.
I just remember a lot of fans hated Ant and saying Lamelo was a way better player. One of my former buddies was so pissed at me for saying Ant was better and his potential is better than Lamelo that we’re no longer buddies lol.
Forever grateful we get to watch Ant play for our team each night he’s on the court. We’ve been down so bad in the years after KG none of us should take what we get to watch nowadays for granted (5 game losing streak be damned)
As a spurs fan I don’t remember anybody calling him a bust. It was lamelo but I definitely don’t see a worst pick of the two. Ball would of been a great pick for yall because of the roster yall had at the time either one could of been plugged in.Ant was a safer pick because nobody knew if lamelo would be a bust because of the comp he played before the nba. Talent wise they are both good players. Anybody will say Ant is the better player but lamelo in the right organization would of been on a trajectory like ant even if he was never hurt charlotte never gave him a team just like kemba before him. Another reason i would love for yall to trade for ja or lamelo they need vets and an organization that dont play one go to yall and the other go to Miami
I legitimately think without Edwards, this team is in Vegas or Seattle already.
I always assumed that players like Moss, Garnett, and Gaborik would stay around forever. Now that I know that players like to move around, I feel more appreciation for the great players we have in Minnesota, like Edwards, Jefferson, and Kaprizov
