Stop. Just stop. Stop taking Ryan Whitney’s fairytale theory and running with it. This is how this sh*t starts. Fans get excited thinking it’s a thing, then get bummed out when it doesn’t happen. It doesn’t happen 99.999% of the time because it was never a thing in the first place, just something the media knowingly bullsh*ts their fans about then the fans get pissed at Yzerman or whoever because they didn’t “pull it off” when it was never even a consideration in the first place. It’s not happening. Yzerman would never give up what it would take. We’ve seen he doesn’t have the balls for big trades. This would never happen in a million years.
