  1. "Welcome to Mariners baseball everybody!" Each and every one of us listening absolutely knew that he was talking directly to us. We have one more glorious year to hear Rick call Seattle Mariners games. We'll treasure every single one of them. It's gonna be damn difficult to fill the shoes of Rick Rizzs. Just sayin'.

  2. Listening to rizzs tell stories during blowouts was the best. You gotta fill the air for 9 innings and rizzs and Dave were the best. This mans voice has been a huge part of my life. I've spent countless hours listening to games on the radio. There's nothing better.

  3. Thank you forever, Rick, for being one of the few voices in my head that narrated some of my fondest memories of my life. Not only did he carry on Dave's legacy with the truest of passion and earnestness, but forged his own legacy for others to live up to. It won't be the same from here on out.

  4. I'm 54 and I'm sitting here crying my eyes out. Being an M's fan my entire life and I'm realizing how much of an impact that Dave and Rizz have had on my life. It just won't be the same. I will root for Goldy and all the others, but it will never be the same.
