Fuck yea
Would be great. But I wouldn’t rush back. He’s got to be running out to ligaments to snap.
I believe

Let’s take this easy man
Please don’t rush back. I get offseason conditioning, but dude lol

LFG Mike
🗣️🗣️🗣️NINEEEEE
He’s making sure he doesn’t get left behind.
No rush .

I’ve always wondered why people were so sure he wouldn’t be back for the beginning of the season.
Like I get that’s how this kind of injury typically is, but there’s gotta be variance in outcomes. Is it totally impossible that he’s ready to go by the spring or summer?
I genuinely am just so nervous about Penix. Like even aside from him being our QB, like I just don’t want to see him get hurt and I am worried about his future in the nfl.
Hes done this rehab before, he knows nit to push it too far and exactly how to recover. All that said, maybe we should just let him chill until august
MY GOAT(went to UW Seattle)
I‘m still riding this Penix
Nah these idiots said he was out for a year plus 🫨
Does anyone know what type of graft he received? There are some much less invasive procedures(bovine graft) that repair the ACL rather than doing a full replacement.
Mike, just know if you blow it out again we have to move on. Get it right though, cause we gonna need you under center as well as in shotgun.
So he’s gonna miss the Superbowl?
Please stay healthy Mike
Penix will be a stud in the right system. Hopefully, ATL got this coaching unit right.
Ready to go by **April**? Homie is microdosing during his workouts.
He would be between 4 and 5 months post-surgery during April. ACL surgery. His 3rd. Standard return time is 9 months.
April ‘26 or ‘27. Not sure why we would even think to rush a knee injury of his kind back so soon. I would prefer our QB1 be 100% before even thinking about getting back on the field
WE NOT WRITING BACK LETS GO
Initially, I thought he wouldn’t be back until later in the season. Then I remembered that Joe Burrow suffered his knee injury the exact same week that Penix suffered his and he was back on the field for week 1. On top of that, Burrow tore not just his ACL, but also his PCL, MCL, and meniscus.
are we really going to trust Penix to be our franchise quarterback? I’d be more confident starting Kirko again…
Don’t rush back. The last thing we need is the Racists saying he was only drafted for culture if he gets hurt again.
Yeahh I like MP9 but I’m just not very bullish on him unfortunately. If he goes down again this year I think it’s kinda over for him. Maybe he’ll find some traction somewhere else and I hope he starts ballin somewhere if not here
I am REALLY rooting for the guy. The injury history is unprecedent so I am not banking on it but we are due one of these situations going our way at some point.
Great to hear. The melodrama that redditors love to engage in when a player gets injured can be a bit much. The “he needs to step away from football, FOR HIS OWN GOOD” crowd can calm down a bit
Let’s just install the $6 Million Dollar Man’s bionic knees!
I mean bro does have a lot of experience recovering from ACL surgeries, so we got that going for us
Good for him. Falcons will pick a QB in 27 draft for sure.
#9 is on that Adrian Peterson ACL regimen
I will never forget that half of our fanbase became doctors overnight and for some reason made up in their mind that Penix will be missing time next season..
well… he should know by now
Just keep him in a no contact jersey through July and we’ll be good lol
What concerns me is the fear that Penix has in the pocket. He’s had so many season ending injuries during his football tenure that he can’t make it all the way through his progressions before he makes a rushed decision that a lot of the time is a mistake, and that’s due to the fear of getting hit. Once you have that fear, you CANNOT un-learn it. Because of the fear, This guy 100% isn’t our franchise QB of the future.
