  1. I heard Penix might be ready by April now BUT if I am the Atlanta Falcons, I would ride with Kirk for 1 or 2 full seasons. While uninjured Kirk produces solid if not very good stats and has the experience and ability to lead a team deep into the playoffs. Penix is great for a young player but lacks some of the processing speed and knowledge that Kirk has. He is seemingly injury prone but if you let him sit and develop he could be something in the future. Just my personal opinion though. Thank you for the coverage Moose!

  2. I dont see a 38 year old QB, whos wife wanted him to come to atlanta in the first place, wants to move again. Oh and btw said wife's family is in atlanta. So idk man it makes more sense for kirk to stay.

  3. I honestly don't care as to whom out of either of the two is selected, as long as the selected GM doesn't arrive with intentions on offering an older type QB a lumpsum of a 4-year contract whilst knowingly how that same QB just suffered a ripped achilles tendon. And then going further in the following year, that same GM decides on choosing a QB as their 8th overall pick in the 2024 draft. As long as said GM does not plan on doing anything as erroneous as that, then hey I'm fine with the organization's GM selection.

  4. Look at all the picks both GM candidates had atop of the draft. Of course they’re going to add a few talented players as a result. CJ Stroud was a great pick by default. If Carolina picked Stroud first overall, Houston would have more than likely picked Bryce Young, which would have change Houston’s fortunes in a bad way.
