  1. I mean, he fits the mold of what Jones/Flores do. I think it’s probably safe to say that Bain will likely be off our board. Guys like Downs, Reese, Styles will be high up

  3. Huge fan and I personally would love to walk away with him or Downs. Not sure what the new DC plans to implement but Styles should still fit the bill.

  5. I think downs lands with washington and styles goes to Dallas. Probably both A+ picks but I hope dallas screws it up. 

  8. If you believe the scouts, there are only 7-8 players with 1st round grades in this years draft (average is about 15)

    Which means it’ll probably be tough to trade down and we might have to pick BPA. If AP thinks this guy is a good fit and a day 1 starter, then you take him

  9. I don’t think he’s worth it at 7, and Dallas is likely to take him at 12 so doubt he comes here.

  10. His stock definitely rising up by draft day. Wouldn’t mind it at all we need anyone elite on this defense

  11. He’s a great player, but I hope the FO addresses our need at off-ball LB through free agency. Those guys do actually take time to develop, no matter how good. We can pay money for one in FA and draft other D positions.

    But if they take him, it’ll be an upgrade.

  12. My thought is he’s really really good. Great prospect. But linebackers get paid half of what Edges and WRs do for a reason.

    I don’t care how good any offball LB or Safety or RB is in this draft. We pick 7 and will have premium Edge & WR talent staring at us in the face.

  13. Honestly, they are so deficient across the roster, only position I would be against them drafting is Oline, QB, and TE. Realistically, a case can be made at any position. I’d be down with Styles, he’s going to be a stud.

  14. We should sign Eric Wilson in free agency because he already knows Jones’ defense inside out and draft an EDGE

  15. If I care about positional value, im not taking an off-ball linebacker.

    If I dont care about positional value, im taking Downs.

  17. He’s pretty good, he’s not super exciting for a top 10 pick lb though, like he’s not going to be absolutely whacking dudes but great tackler and good in coverage as well as being ~6’5 and good speed (converted safety.)

  18. I’m taking Bailey and Downs over Styles, needs in those two areas out weigh LB at this point. I think Magee is a player so are Amos and Sanristil. Payne and Newton and Kinlaw are formidable not spectacular. Armstrong when he gets back will help and I thought Martin flashed in every game. So we have some pieces but we need some FA’s on the defensive side of the ball to fill in the gaps. Just my 2 cents.

  21. I would take him he is pretty much a flawless imo

    I would rather have an elite player at a non premium position than hop on the edge rodeo every year because we keep overdrafting people who arent ready

  23. I think he’ll be more impactful in the NFL than Reese or Downs. Dude is instinctual and an athletic freak. It’s like if Kyle Hamilton played MLB.

  25. Downs is the only choice at 7.

    Is he the best safety prospect? No, of course not. But he fills such a dire need on our woeful defense that finding other defensive players will be such an easier task than if it was the other way around

  28. Sonny styles is a monster i will be so stoked if we get him. I do really want Caleb downs at 7 but if we get styles ill be pleased.
