One of my personal favorite Mav squads of all time. #1 offense in the league before the Rondo trade and super fun to watch.

Had they not made that trade, how far do yall think they would've gotten in the 2015 playoffs? Realistically.

  1. honestly they were looking like a dark horse contender but of course the biggest question mark was defense, BIG question mark. realistically I would have said second round exit but who knows.

  2. I think it was the best offense in NBA history at the time. Wasn’t Jose Calderon also on the team? I might be mixing up seasons.

  3. That offense was a thing of beauty and Jameer Nelson was an absolutely awesome Mav.

  4. If chandler stayed healthy and played like he did on Houston, we were a really good team. We bet big on him and it fucked us until we got Luka

  5. Iirc the record against good teams was pretty poor pre-trade. We did hang like 145 on the Lakers (who were bad) which was sick though.

  6. My hot take is that Parsons was a good signing.

We got him on a 2-year/29m deal for nothing.

His contract was way overblown and people act like 14.5m a year is the super max.

He was also decently efficient and could play point forward pretty well

  7. I remember when they got rondo, my brother in law who is an avid spurs fan and mavericks hater sent me a text congratulating the mavericks. It aged poorly to say the least
