Saw someone post about Luka's tweet regarding the injury 'predisposition'. Here's the most complete form of Bo's interview that I've come across. Seems a lot of different outlets are just posting clips. If I find the full audio interview, I'll post that up.

  1. I hope you are right Bo. Plenty of QBs never get another shot. Needs to get him some significant upgrades with his weapons this offseason.

  2. Also, from the clips I’ve seen, Bo said recovery time of 4-6 weeks and he’ll be back to training

  3. I think it was 104.3 that was really stirring the pot on this.

Bo definitely sounds annoyed during the part where he brings up Payton talking about his surgeries. But thinking about the past week for the dude – wins a phenomenal game for the franchise, immediately finds out he needs surgery, gets surgery, watches the team he got to this point lose from a variety factors, some of which is probably your backup not playing the best, and then you find out your coach mixed things up and made it sound like you’re injury prone? On top of that, you’ve got a pregnant wife at home and a coach you’re really close to may leave? I’d also be pissed too, these guys are human.

All that said, I don’t think this means there’s trouble in paradise or a coming rift like some of these guys are clinging to. I think it’s just Sean was a dummy with how he phrased things and Bo is setting the record straight.

  4. > …motivated to return to play for championships

Bo sure made it sound as much. Aside from the injury, I’m fired up at the thought that we finally have a QB where winning is the expectation, not the hope. And after the Buffalo game, I was 100% sold on the idea that any game within reach is absolutely winnable with Bo under center going forward. The kind of faith a great QB instills in their team and fans. In short; our QB has “it”, and we should be fucking pumped.

  5. I hope so. I don’t mean to be a downer but SB chances are rare. Some of the best QB’s the league has seen have only gotten to 1 or some have never got there.

  6. Man, I haven’t had this big of an end of season hangover in a long time. If we were at full strength and lost, I could deal with that. It’s the fact that we would’ve won that game on Sunday if Nix had played. I can’t get over it right now.

  7. Dan Marino thought so too.

But this team is good and if we can finally get some weapons on offense we could become very good.
