  3. I am really thinking that the Wolves are probably co-favorites with Miami for acquiring Giannis.

    Look at what Golden State has to offer: Kuminga, Podz, injured Butler, and picks. Look at the team they have after trading all that for Giannis.

    Look at what would have to be the centerpiece of a Knicks trade for Giannis: KAT. That KAT contract is an anchor – not
    very appealing.

    The Wolves still have a good roster after trading Randle, Jaden and more for Giannis (assuming Wolves retain Gobert, DDV, Naz). Randle and Jaden have palatable contracts.

  4. I wish we Had depth already but Shannon Dilly and Clarke have been very disappointing.

    Is Mike Conley-Dante-Ant-Freak-Gobert with meh depth enough to win a championship? Can Naz, Freak and Gobert play at the same time so Naz playing the 3 and Donte plays the 1?

  6. Just gotta sell the Bucks that they don’t want to re-build. Julius and Jaden give them two high floor players to make a push for playoffs. The problem becomes, do we have to acquire Thanasis? Do we keep Gobert?

  13. I’m choosing to believe there’s a world where get make a deal and keep Jaden and Naz. You just can’t gut the roster and have Ant, Giannis and scrubs. There’s no “figuring it out later”, we won’t win shit without any depth.

  15. He hates Milwaukee’s weather and complained about the cold multiple times, I highly doubt he’ll actually land in Minnesota even if rumors are circling

  16. My main concern is that we already have no depth. What happens if we trade 3 players for 1? We’ll have no bench at all. It would be so sick to have two top 5 players but they can’t do it all.

    I love Jaden and Jules, but you do this 10/10 times if you can. Also, Connelly has proven to be correct on virtually all his roster decisions. So if he thinks this is a good idea as well, I defer to his judgement

  25. I know it’s very unlikely, but if we can pull this off while also keeping Jaden, then sign Connelly to a ten year deal.
