Oregon football’s 2026 backfield now has its sixth member, and he provides another powerful option for Dan Lanning and the Ducks.
Colorado running back transfer Simeon Price announced his commitment to Oregon on Thursday. Price has one year of eligibility remaining and will add to the Ducks’ depth and experience at the position. He is listed at 6-0, 215 pounds.
In what would have been his senior season with the Buffaloes after previous stops at Coastal Carolina and Mississippi State, Price amassed 21 carries for 143 yards and two touchdowns. He played in just four games before going down with an ankle injury and missing the remainder of the season.
Originally a three-star recruit out of high school in Pensacola, Florida, back in 2021, Price was the No. 44 athlete in the country and No. 76 overall player in the state of Florida according to 247Sports’ rankings.
Oregon’s running backs room is now comprised of the redshirt senior Price, Jordon Davison (So.), Dierre Hill Jr. (So.), Da’Jaun Riggs (R-So.), Tradarian Ball (Fr.) and Brandon Smith (Fr.).
