Boy howdy, that’s great. My whole life, I’ve always wanted to see them win a governors cup.
“Hey, we have a loaded farm system. Should we package some of these guys for a starter and try and win us a Championship?”
“Naw, let’s develop internally and see what we got.”
“Hey, some of these guys look to be pretty good. You want to bring them up or trade them for a bat for a postseason run?”
“Naw, that will start the clock on arbitration. Let’s keep developing so they can be key part of our team for years to come!”
“Hey, some of these guys have turned into All-Stars. Do you think we should pay them?”
“Eh, we haven’t won a championship and I don’t think we will with these guys. Let’s trade them for some prospects and reload our farm system.”
rinse and repeat until I die
These will all make great cash considerations, I’m sure.
Pretty cool to be ranked 2nd.
But you know what is even cooler either bringing up the stars to win a championship or trade them for some solid veterans that will help us win a championship.
If we’re trash for a few years after doing that but won a championship I wouldn’t care.
oh boy good news about my favorite baseball team, surely the comments will be filled with interesting disc-

Pretty crazy to see 5 of the top 7 teams made the playoffs last year. And 4 of those won their division. Then the Mets who just missed out in there as well with their payroll.
That’s a bad sign for the rest of baseball when many of the already good teams also have the best prospects. Could be a rough next few years for teams like the White Sox, Rangers, Royals, Angels, Astros, and Rockies. Although a few of those teams have had a rough past decade already.
… how?
We’re excited for another batch of prospects, but pattern recognition says if even one batter pans out, it’s a genuine miracle.

Still won’t bring them up or trade them
