  1. Y es I’ll be a lil upset I like sochaan however he’s been not that good, he will be soon a bit expensive for his role and more than all that he’s not a great fit for us anymore! Sad to see but we def should trade him even it’s just for picks

  2. We need to go after Portis… This is the best moment. We can give them Olynik, Sochan and 2nd round picks. Adding one bucks guy should do it. Bonus : at the end of the season you trade Vassell for Trey Murphy… Keep Barnes on vet contract or not and then you have roster cost that would be pretty cool. Starting lineup : Fox, Castle, Murphy, Portis, Wemby. Bench: Harper, Champagnie, Jonhson, Barnes Bryant, Kornet… No need more.

  3. Barnes still isn't worth his contract, and although Champagnie sucked vs the Rockets game, I'd still take his cheaper contract and play over D Vassell and his bloated contract. If you're going to trade Sochan, then add Vassell with some picks into the deal and get Trey Murphy III.

  4. I was never a fan of getting Giannis but if it happened w/o giving up Wemby-Castle-Harper-Bryant-Johnson-Kornet, then I'd be thrilled b/c Harper, not Castle, would be the PG to replace a traded Fox. Bitch Johnson using the TO-prone Castle over Harper as a PG is a HUGE MISTAKE.

  5. No. I love Jeremy Sochan and I still think his upside is really high, especially since he’s young and already shows so many good qualities. That said, I honestly don’t think Mitch Johnson is a big fan of his. Most of us who’ve played sports know there are usually only two reasons a coach doesn’t play someone: either they don’t trust/like you, or they don’t think you’re good enough. And I don’t think it’s the second one.

Jeremy has clearly shown improvement at times this season, especially with his jump shot, but it’s hard for him to get into any kind of rhythm—athletically or confidence-wise—when he’s barely playing. That makes it tough for him to really thrive.

So yeah, I wouldn’t be mad at all if Jeremy Sochan got traded. I actually think he’d do really well in a situation where he’s given consistent minutes, allowed to develop, and has a coaching staff that truly appreciates what he brings to the table.

  6. Can yall kill this talk about 34 the spurs going to have to give up the future for maybe a 2 year tops peak performance and I am being generous saying that the spurs don’t need him they rebuilt the right way to where they don’t need him

  7. N — We (mostly) all like Jeremy, but there is a reason he is not getting minutes. He will be a better fit on another team. It's best for him.
Yes – We are not a home for Giannis.
    Fix the title.
Hopefully Spurs are holding out for the best fit to the team's needs, not only for the best deal financially.
IMHO, the Spurs need another big body under the hoop and better outside shooting.

  8. Who is this joke talking like he has an inside track what the Spurs might or might not be doing. I will not support this over caffeined rumor spreading fool.

  9. The whole Sochan thing is confusing to me. I find it hard to believe that he doesn't have value and utility to be getting meaningful minutes. I understand the outside shooting has been streaky for the team, and much has been made of his limited range, but he's so good defensively, and switchable defenders are all the rage, that it's strange. Add in his rebounding (offensively too), I don't quite get it. He's good covering 2-4, and some 1's and 5's, crashes the boards, and is great at being a pest. Boundless energy.

Those are guys you want come playoff time.

Is there something else going on with him and Mitch not being reported?

  10. Respectfully, it it would make no sense for the Spurs to trade for a big piece like Giannis when we’re already so close to a championship with second place in the NBA teams that are that high ranked to have no need to make huge improvements just minor adjustments

  11. It would be the worst possible move we could make and ruin our bright future, this nba2k where you can work crazy trades without the aprons that are attached to the cap and penalizing a team for going over, and downright destroying a teams next 3-5yrs, when they go over the 2nd apron, and with wembys extention coming as well as castle in 2 years and keeping a good core around wemby as well as adding a much needed power forward now thats not harrison barnes, i like hp but no help down low, maybe bobby portis or john collins more reasonable to go after, they both can play all 3 levels, play defense, pass, play well with others, and would better compliment wemby or you get a big man center, and let wemby play the 4 since he still stays outside half his time on the floor, yabusele isnt playing bad, hes not getting minutes, to even get in a rhythm, and play like he did last year for philly, that matters, and wemby and yabusele play well together, but when your paying 13.5mil for kelly olynk who is averaging all career lows and adding very little to what we went and got him for, i dont know what john collins or portis cost but i would pursue them, or adem bona from philly who was also on a tear in his rc year last year filling in for embiid and is now getting no time, but great rim protector and offensive rebounder as well as great ally oop target that our spurs do alot of and he runs the floor hard and competes for lose balls takes charges smart young guy that philly isnt using since embiid is playing more minutes, i mean if we dont a 6 million player option then most trades for like a portis or collins would require more than sochans contract, its sad cause sochan was misused from the moment they started the point forward thing, never utilized him properly except short term before point forward project, when he was scrappy defender and rebounder and solid target down low cause he wasnt actual post player but scored well down there most of time cause teams just forgot about him or didnt know he was down there till too late. But seems like he checked out awhile ago

  12. I'm good with not getting Giannis the core we have is good no need to break that up when we see with our certain players like Devin was out and we were struggling
