Sean Payton quietly building one of the bigger coaching trees in the NFL. People that are always like “wHy iS HE sTiLl aLLowEd tO cOaCh?” Besides ignoring the context around the suspension don’t get that he’s still one of the biggest influences in the coaching world today.
He has 3 HCs who were directly under him, and one more (Ben Johnson) who was directly under someone from his tree.
That plus Webb will likely be an HC within 3 years. Good chance VJ might be too.
Then just a whole shit ton of assistant coaches are from his staff
I just hope our team of good coaches doesn’t get pillaged this off-season…

Reading between the lines I’d be shocked if Davis Webb isn’t announced as the OC in next day or two.
I’m gonna be real this is the first time I’ve heard his name so probably not too much of a loss
Wouldn’t be surprised if Carmichael was enocuraged to look around. Seems odd to see 2 of Payton’s long trusted offensive assistants bolt within a week.
