14. I’ve never been one to get a player name on a jersey because they don’t stick around very long. But Schaefer may change my mind on that. We are so blessed.

16. In one interview he said he was feeling under the weather but he had FOMO and wanted to be on the ice again even when not feeling well. The drive this kid has is insanely high. He loves this sport and as Barzy said he is our guy. Unreal, such exciting times with him on the front page of this new era.

19. Aside from his play, I’m consistently blown away by Schaefer’s maturity. Just incredible for an 18 year old kid. Also, this tradition of living with a family for a rookie season is truly amazing. Such a great way to keep someone grounded and ease a transition of someone this young. Can you imagine an NBA player living with–and babysitting–someone else’s little kids? Having their billet mom pack their clothes for their road trip? I love everything about this

    It’s the Rags. They’re not the Dodgers. It’s not like they have a track record of buying every attractive free agent, especially from the Island. And the teams never make trades with each other, last week was the first time in like 10,000 years.
