  17. You can't take a job that you weren't offered. That means you didn't impress ownership. If you wanted a one and done and ownership wants someone there a few years then your weren't the fit.     You are worried at Dart is having his second OC in 2 years? Hurts has had 11 different OC's in NCAA and NFL career. Literally had one season where the OC was the same.   22. I wouldn’t have had a back up plan to Todd Monken as offensive coordinator either. I mean there was no conceivable reason an nfl team would hire Monken as a head coach. You can’t predict how the browns are gonna brown

  25. This show is weird. They have former players talking about the quarterback like it’s the only position on the field. For the ultimate team sport Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson get a lot of critique when they out their teams in winning positions and other players can’t capitalize. Perfect example, Drake May is playing terrible in these playoffs and is in the Super Bowl. Almost like the playoffs aren’t just about your Quarterback and good TEAMS make it to the Super Bowl. Weird

  39. I mean yeah he probably wanted Monken. And now that he can't get him they're gonna do some due diligence and make sure they get the best guy to pair with Dart's skill set. This is such a non story lol. Oh wow because they didn't rush out and hire someone reflexively because Monken got a HC job in Cleveland, everything is melting down? Come on, let's relax lol.

    On top of that, I don't think anybody expected Todd Monken to get hired by the Browns. Kinda out of left field. I don't think people expected they'd pass over Jim Schwartz who is loved in that building by the team and defensive players and has a proven track record of excellent defense during his tenure as DC under Stefanski. Even the media was shocked when Monken got named and leap frogged Schwartz.
