  9. Jose Alvarado brings energy and toughness as a defensive specialist against the smaller guards. To me, he seems like a perfect fit in SA. Can trade Jordan McGlaughlin for him plus one or two 2nd rounders. However, I understand it doesn't address primary needs, but it's still a good pickup if we can get him.

  11. Thanks, Josh, for bringing up Steph. Seeing some people keep blaming him and Coach Mitch for the losses honestly makes me sad. I get that he’s not perfect, but considering his physicality and tenacity, what he brings is incredible, and exactly what this team needs.

    He’s only a sophomore, so of course there’s still a lot for him to learn. He’s been great on defense, and his playmaking keeps improving. I know the three-point shooting is bad, but he’s clearly putting in the work, like training with guard whisperer last offseason to improve his shooting.

    With all his strengths, if his shooting takes a real leap only in his second year, he could easily be a main guy on many other teams. So let's be realistic. That’s what the Spurs do. Identify talented and coachable players, then bring the best out of them to fill every piece needed. That’s how spurs dynasty was built.

    I really hope he continues to grow into his role in the team, and we should support him as he develops alongside Wemby and Dylan.

  13. Sochan is awesome, but would probably be better served with a team dynamic he fits better into…. If we get Bobby Portis, that'd be amazing. He'd probably be the best fit.

  15. I like the Jose Alvarado trade but we would give too much for him like I would trade him for Lindy and McLaughlin and like 2 second round picks because we could use sochan for a better trade

  20. Our true trade target needs to be Scottie Barnes. We get him and we’re a dynasty again. Just a dream though… I wanted Sochan to work out too, but the drafting of Carter Bryant pretty much sealed his fate.

  24. Why can't we play Alvarado as the backup PG with Harper as the backup SG? It takes pressure off of Castle AND Harper because he can play off ball when everyone's healthy or split off bench with Harper and he can play on ball when guys are hurt.

  26. Go get Matas Buzelis if we can't get Trey Murphy. We need someone +6'8" that can shoot and not be a defensive liability. Someone that can play PF

    I'd let go of Vassel and Barnes for Murphy.
