We’ve been watching shitty LB coverage for way too long, and this dude is the best coverage LB in the
Draft. Go watch this clip on twitter. 3rd/4th round projection on him, and he’s been an absolute beast in every facet so far at the Senior Bowl (team and individual). Getting rave reviews from all angles. Not to mention he’s also an animal in the run game and gets after QB relentlessly. Look at these stats.
Since 2024:
84.7 PFF grade (10th among all LBs)
31 TFLs/No Gain (1st among all LBs)
50 QB pressures (1st among all LBs)
87.0 coverage grade (8th among all LBs)
He’s absolutely gettable and is going to be an absolute steal. Having him and Magee would set us up for years to come at the LB spot. Only knock on him is his size. He plays fast, twitchy, and disciplined and would work great in DJs new defensive scheme.

As long as we don’t turn that grade into a first somehow, and (we do) take Downs or a true impact player with the first pick, I could care less how the rest of the draft shakes out.
Had a Kevin Pierre-Louis flashback at first.
Average scout position on board is 146. We have pick 145. Sounds like an excellent pick if he’s there.
I love him but I think linebacker is one of the easier things to solve in a relatively bad free agency
You just heard of him when you saw this tweet so now he’s a must get?

Maybe he could be the vital OLB should Jones move to a 3-4 front with Match Zone Coverages? He seems smaller for typical ones but that doesn’t seem to matter statistically and on film.
Might be available here:
Round 3, pick #7 (71 overall)
Anyone have any intel on the LB from Texas Tech? Was getting a ton of praise during the season but I don’t hear much about him as a draft prospect.
Could be if he’s still there later? Unless we trade down and accumulate picks. There’s a few undersized lbs that do well in the league iirc.
What is his size? The one I’m thinking about is Henley.. and he’s not even that small right? But he plays behind Tate a monster DT who can eat up and let him work
As a Pitt alum and die hard fan – Kyle is the truth. Crazy high effort and he’s only getting better. Gamer through and through
