So if we are about 7mil over the cap we now have about 19mil before anything else happens right?

  1. Play our cards right we don’t have to choose; franchise ETN, extend Lloyd for 2-4 years!

  2. Hate to burst the bubble here. We have anywhere between ~ -$7M to -$11M to start based on this projection from my understanding.

  3. Cut armstead pre June (saves 14m) that alone allows you to sign the incoming rookie class

  4. So, enough cap space to sign about 2 mid free agents. And we have no 1st round draft pick at the moment. Ugh! We really need Travis Hunter and Ransaw to show out next season. Need RB, G, LB, DE, and maybe CB/S.

  5. Gladstone will make some day 2-3 picks that will splash, and none of this will matter. He will find good, ready to go TALENT in the mid to late rounds, unlike balkee who got guys coming off injury.

  6. Eithenne is staying in Jacksonville for several years and Devin lloyd your still needed in Jacksonville. Holy shitaki mushroom. Im happy thank you NFl, in gladstone I trust.

  7. Assuming the average yes. The salary cap has absolutely ballooned which is why I was never worried about retaining Lloyd and ETN if the jags and said players were interested in staying put. I’d still expect some more cap generating moves tho (re-signing 44, pwash, and strange come to mind)

  8. Folks. Gladstone might get a lot of players to take a reshuffle of salary because they are going for the ‘chip. Don’t be surprised if Jimmy gets a good amount of cap back.

  9. Update: we are currently roughly 12-16 million over the cap. A JHA restructure and T-law restructure should put us over into green
