5. I was randomly invited to the game last night by a friend with an extra ticket, what an experience!!!! Dirk in the house, Cooper breaking all time records, Mark Aguirre Jersey getting retired it was electric in the AAC.

6. You can hate on Nico for basically any reason you want to other than highlighting the Aguirre retirement ceremony. That shit 1000% doesn’t happen without him pushing Cuban out.

   Mark was a real dickhead when it came to keeping Aguirre out of the fold. He wanted to honor the old idiot fool Don Carter’s wishes and dick over the first Mav GOAT.

   No doubt a huge motivation for Nico doing this was sticking it to Mark, but whatever…it’s genuinely the best thing he ever accomplished in his time as the Mavs GM.

   Aguirre deserved his flowers and the legacy of the team always felt incomplete without them finally honoring Aguirre for what he did for the franchise.

8. Growing up a Mavs and Dirk fan… I saw that dude work so fucking hard for himself and for us. He never gave up. He took his failures like most of us do, but he fought to get better.

   Dirk.. if you ever read this. You are one of a kind and my my childhood and adulthood more enjoyable to watch. I’ve got kids now that watch your games with me. Icon.
