Hyeseong Kim on Dodgers Love LA + Team Korea Dreams | “It’s an Honor to Meet the Fans”
Dodgers infielder Hyeseong Kim spoke during a stop on the Dodgers Love LA Community Tour at the Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center.
Kim shared what it has meant to feel the love from Dodgers fans throughout the community tour, calling it an honor to represent the organization and meet fans face-to-face.
He also discussed his continued dream of representing Team Korea in international play, explaining that wearing the national team uniform has always been one of his biggest goals since becoming a professional. Kim talked about preparing for upcoming matchups, including facing strong opponents like Taiwan, and mentioned players he recognizes from past meetings.
To close, Kim reflected on entering his second season in MLB, saying the emotions are similar every year before a season, excitement, anticipation, and a little concern, but he’s looking forward to seeing his offseason preparation show on the field.
