The Michael Jordan of Delaware

  1. Donte is a really good player. We asked him to change his game a lot from that peak scoring year he had in NY. That was just volume 3pt shooting off of screens and now we’re asking him to initiate offense, and even attack the rim and play make a tiny bit. He’s gotten more confident with off the dribble threes, and of course his bread and butter spot up 3 is money when he gets the chance (but of course because he has the ball more now he doesn’t get as many of these as he did in NY). But he also plays great with Ant and really ramped up his defensive effort. Just a hooper, very happy to have him on the team.

Just to get on my high horse, even when he’s struggled a bit adjusting to his new role, I never got why some people wanted to trade or reduce his minutes. You don’t get better getting rid of a player like Donte, you just don’t.

  2. I’m the Michael Jordan of my house

….until my son grows large enough to defeat me

  3. We’re one Delaware native short of having them all.

Bones is also a Delaware kid.

    Just need Jalen Duren.

  4. No one could ever make me hate Donte. One of the only shooters in the league who can go 1/8 and still have an amazing game. Championship player if you ask me.
