  2. The Seahawks are up for sale immediately after the Super Bowl. As Paul Allen would’ve said, “Bill Gates is kind of a d—k.” But Paul also would’ve said, “Strike while the iron’s hot.” Indeed.

  3. Loved the Pats in 2001: written off throughout January, 14-point underdogs vs the Greatest Show on Turf. Y'all know how that ended.

Love them again this year: same noise, same doubt, 4.5-point underdogs vs Seattle.

Bring up the stats about Maye in the playoffs, bring up "the easiest path to the Super Bowl ever", bring up the "weak strength of schedule", bring up all the hate you can muster.

None of it matters now, and none of it matters on February 8th. None of it.

  4. Dear Executive Leadership Team,
We are writing to you as a valued leader in sports media, advertising, and brand stewardship.
The National Football League remains one of the most powerful entertainment properties in the world. Its scale, reach, and profitability are unmatched. However, with that influence comes responsibility—and increasingly, scrutiny.
Despite a player base that is majority minority, the NFL continues to demonstrate a persistent and well-documented failure to equitably value, develop, and hire minority candidates into head coaching and senior football leadership roles. This disparity is not anecdotal; it is structural, recurring, and increasingly visible to fans, players, sponsors, and the broader public.
For years, the league has relied on symbolic reforms rather than outcome-driven accountability. As a result, public confidence in the NFL’s commitment to fairness, meritocracy, and modern leadership standards is eroding—particularly among younger audiences and global markets that value authenticity and alignment between stated values and actual practices.
This moment presents a clear choice for the NFL’s partners.
You have both the leverage and the credibility to influence meaningful progress by making it clear that continued investment, sponsorship, and media partnership must align with demonstrable, measurable change—not performative commitments. This is not about punishment. It is about long-term brand protection, audience trust, and future-facing leadership.
We believe there is a constructive path forward:
One in which the NFL commits to transparent, outcome-based reforms in leadership hiring.
One in which partners signal that equity, accountability, and competitive integrity are non-negotiable business values.
One in which the league corrects course and preserves its standing as a premier global sports property.
Absent that progress, many partners will be forced to reassess whether continued association aligns with their brand promises, consumer expectations, and shareholder responsibilities—particularly when alternative sports and entertainment properties are increasingly demonstrating inclusive leadership and sustainable growth.
This is an opportunity for the NFL to lead rather than react, and for its partners to help shape a league that reflects the values it profits from promoting.
History consistently shows that institutions evolve when their most influential stakeholders demand better—not quietly, but clearly and constructively.
We urge you to use your voice, your leverage, and your leadership at this pivotal moment.

Respectfully, The People of The United States
