If we lose VJ this will really sting, but at this point i think most of the dominoes have fell and i think Vance Joseph sees a better chance at a super bowl here than if he were to go coach another team.
I like Lenohard so good for him, sad trombone for us I was hoping we could keep him for the eventual point when Vance leaves.
We’ll miss him, but he absolutely earned the DC job and I’m wishing him nothing but the best except when he is up against the broncos.
Seeing everyone saying he is a loss is kinda beyond me. We had little to no picks this year with a pretty stout CB room. We had two of the CBs with the top ten DPI calls. With the former DPOtY you would think we would have performed better…
Knew this was coming, even if it wasn’t the Bills Leonhard was a top candidate for every DC opening. Sucks but part of being a good team is getting poached. I honestly don’t think Webb will be here long either even if he is OC

I’ll say it again, we should hire McDermott to be our DC for a year. Then he can go after the best HC job next year. Assuming VJ leaves of course.

I was honestly hoping VJ gets hired as a HC and he would replace him, but oh well.
It does feel like VJ is staying at this point. Cardinals would be his best bet, but I feel they and the Raiders are fighting for Kubiak at this point.

Am I missing something or just looking at it wrong?
I didn’t think that the defensive secondary was our strong point at all on defense. They tackled well and stopped YAC…but we sucked in turnovers. I do t know how many dropped interceptions I saw all year. What I DID see was dominant line play and crushing pass rush. Our talent is what saved us in the defensive backfield imo, not the coaching.
