Bears predicted to reunite with stud edge rusher in free agency

  1. At the right price I’d be great with this on a one year deal or a two year with an easy out. Great mentor who can still take over occasionally. We still need probably 2DL in the first 3 rounds unless there’s another FA or trade.

  2. I want it to happen solely so I can wear my jersey again and cuz I’ll always love bro. Never will forget the rush of waking up, laying in bed for 2 min on my phone, and then the raiders have traded Mack to the bears alert appearing at the top of my phone. Woke me up right away. For the right price I’d love it

  3. If we wanted a veteran cheaper option in combination with a draft class focused on the defense, a few guys make sense . Not suggesting we sign any of these, but all guys who were drafted while Dennis Allen was DC or HC beyond Mack/Hendrixkson who of course also fit that.

    – Cameron Jordan, Sheldon Rankins, Von Miller, Marcus Davenport, Peyton Turner, and amusingly enough former Bear Al Qadin Muhammed.

I wonder if they take a deeper look at Cam Jordan as an even more low cost version of Mack. Had 10.5 sacks last year, PFFs #4 rates edge defender against the run last season. Unlikely he goes back to back with that statline at his age, but could be a similar type of addition if we wanted a lower risk/cost guy to add to the rotation and focus on the draft.

  4. I was doing time in the federal prison downtown when it came across ESPN.. that unit went bonkers. CMON BACK MACK

  5. I’ll be shocked if he comes back here. He’s old, didnt seem to love Chicago the way other star players did and I’ll bet he’ll want to stay in a warm/indoor team.

  6. Bearswire is not very reliable. They didn’t even update the active game day rosters in their gameday posts. Rome and JJ were active according to them, even though they were on IR.

  7. Doubtful. Price too high & while he found success after leaving here is evem older now so a high cost contract when we are already over cap & have other big needs it just doesnt make sense

  8. If it were 2.5 mil max? Sure. Does he make it injury free during the season? Not likely. Definitely some production value there, if the price is right.

  9. The Mack trade to LA really aged poorly. In this era of the game where pass rushers are worth their weight in gold, and to only get back a second rounder for Mack, that you used to draft a mediocre safety. One of Poles worst trades among several short-sighted he made in his first year here.

  10. I love all of you on this sub, but I’m tuning out until like a week before the draft. I cannot stand all the HOT TAKE articles and speculations. It means absolutely nothing. Unless Ryan pulls another Carolina like deal between now and the draft I really don’t care.

At 40 years old and have lived through the last 22 or so years of truly knowing and caring about Bears football… I just can’t with these hit pieces

  11. Yea …. just let me know if it does happen …. I started to pull out his jersey last year and then put it back …

  12. He wasn’t that great when he left us. I’m sure the extra years have only improved him. Jk. A big no from me.
