Still one of the coolest things ive seen is Ichiro catch a ball behind his back like that while shagging some flyballs before a game in 2009

Great catch. But why does the coloring on the catcher’s chest protector make it look like he’s wearing a bra?
I played outfield in college DECADES AGO NOW, but one of my fave things to do was throw a ball way up in the air and then run out to my position and catch it behind the back in the run. Pretty easy once after a while, but people would be so impressed. I was a mediocre player so this was my highlight of every game hahha
