  1. Oh no!!! 🤦‍♂️ They must be trying to tank in 2026! That’s cool, get the number 1 pick in 2027 and then fire Hackett and blame it all on him next offseason! 😂

  2. regarding coaching – Shula didn't take a job! He only wanted to interview with 3 teams and we were one of em. He's going to keep honing his skills. I think Shula has the best chance out McVay's current tree to be a successful HC if he stays a coordinator for 1-2 more years

  3. Reason it'd be dope if you can make a bird's eye view perspective prediction video on potential big Sully moves he can make between now and 2027 offseason to generate draft capital for a top pick to get a QB in the 2027 draft (ala something akin to the Laremy Tunsil trade Grier made, do you think theres someone on the roster that could stand a chance at selling themselves next season in Hafley's new regime to create trade value?)

  4. Did they get it right? Of course not! When had Ross and his inner circle of greedy and incompetent morons gotten anything right in regard to this football team? They’re great at making money for themselves. However, they’re the worst at winning football games.

  5. I can already tell how this is going to go over the next few years. The defense will improve and become better, but the offense will suck and we won’t be able to score more than 20 points per game consistently. More mediocrity.

  6. Good morning Reason hope all is well with you and your family. Love your content as usual!👍🏽 Anyways I think Hackett won’t be around long if he doesn’t produce, that’s just my opinion! It appears that he’s just getting another opportunity due to familiarity amongst the coaching parties!🤷🏽‍♂️

  7. Sean Peyton said that Hackett's tenure was "one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL" He did such a great job with the Broncos and the Jets. This is another Green Bay castoff buddy hire by Hafley. A guy down on his luck, so let’s give him a job as the QB coach to a team that doesn’t have a QB. Hackett is a failure, so he’ll fit right in with this band of misfits.

  8. Ewers is, essentially, a rookie and deserves a chance to compete with a clean slate. He looked relaxed in the pocket and made some nice reads and throws running McD's half-baked, semi-remedial passing game and it sure didn't hurt getting that real game action last year. Ewers is the most underestimated QB in the NFL right now. I wonder how he'd be looked at today if he and not the very limited Carson Beck had transferred to Miami for the 2025 season and the Canes went undefeated and beat Indiana in the national championship game, both of which would have happened? Would he still be the guy that floats too many balls down the middle of the field or the "touch pass master" that gets away with it because of how fast he reads the field and sees windows ABOUT to open before defenses are ready for it? Glad we didn't find out.
I remember having a QB like that sometime back and he ended up doing pretty good for us for almost two decades. I'd love to see Ewers get his chance to play in an offense that is really trying to succeed with competent players, coaches and schemes. Ewers vs Willis? Hell yes! Let's see it. Give me Quinn, baby, and let's run with it.
Finding other reasons to watch the NFL is such a Dolphins' fan thing to do since our team, once one of the heroes, has been disgraced and relegated down to a perennial heel. For me, the top non-Dolphin interest will be Mike McDaniel now running an offense with the QB we could have had operating behind an OL coached by our former OL coach. If both OTs for the Chargers make it back at full strength, he should have everything Grier never provided him and everything he never fought for to give Tua; a strong OL, a consistent, effective rushing attack and a HC above him to handle quality control, teach him how to create a rhythm understanding how one play leads to the next and slapping the yellow stripe off of "the guru's" back every time an aggressive defense has him retreating-to-cowering and his playcalling regressing to all running plays going wide outside and pass plays occurring within three yards of the line of scrimmage.
I'd love to see the Cowboys trade Dak for a package of picks, trade a package of picks to Las Vegas and draft Fernando Mendoza to see what Jon Gruden could do with him in those other offensive weapons. It would give the Raiders a chance to fill multiple holes and still snag a QB while Dallas would free up money to get Pickens taken care of, stay study at QB and have plenty of money left over to spend.

  9. Clearly we got Hackett because #1 he didn't have a real job in Green Bay and #2 because Hafley doesn't have the NFL connections to bring in a top notch Offensive Staff. What has Hackett done in the NFL that makes anyone believe he can develop a young QB??? Maybe I'm missing something, but I see Hackett as Aaron Rogers buddy and a Nepo Kid.

  10. Don’t like Nathanial at all but I’m not taking year 1 too seriously. Year 1 to me is a test year where nobody is safe from player to staff. If someone works and does well, you keep them, if not move on. Dolphins have a quarter century long allergy to winning and having a star QB, our team isn’t desirable. The hires we have on the staff are all loyal, experienced, needing to prove something hires. We just gotta see how it all plays out year 1
