You don't need to choose whether to Win or Tank. The coach and players try to win, the manager provides the coach with a team that can't win. Integrity preserved.
I don't want the Leafs to go on an end-of-season heater, give us hope, still miss the playoffs and Boston gets their 1st rounder because they are out of the lottery.
As to Benny, if you watch the Benoit blue print video from the other month, Woll is part of his hangout gang between games. It could just be they are buds.
We aren't in the playoffs. I'm calm about it now. Lets see if Treliving can do intelligent things with the situation to make us better next year. That's the real Leafs story for me now. How the team does is just 'whatever',
We weren’t going to lose every remaining game & we took the worst team in the league to shootout LOL we don’t even have to try to tank, we’re still gonna finish at the bottom (although knowing the Leafs we’re gonna finish 6th, giving Boston a top tier pick 🤣)

SELL SELL SELL, get picks and draft atleast 2 elite stud defensemen. Every team that has won a cop has a Hedman Makar Letang Carlson Doughty Keith Lidstrom Neidermeyer etc get the point. Reilly had 1 great offensive year and now he's the worst defensively for what we expected out of our #1 D man. Why are we looking for offensive players when we dont have a well equipped back end to move the puck forward to them. SMH 🤦🏽♂️
Canucks fan here. I feel like your heart and your brain are exactly where mine are. I know we need to tank (and clearly we are) but I cannot outright cheer a loss. I can’t do it.
They can do both, trade and tank.
We had our tank..it got us a lot of nice players..who never showed up when it mattered for a decade..

As a Leaf loather, my worst fear is they finish to far down the standing and Win the Draft lottery again and bag McKenna or whomever else may sneak in as 1st pick….my happy scenario is they barely miss playoffs (17th overall) Win the lottery nabbing the 6th pick, which would go to Boston 🙂 Blow Leafs Blow!!! But not too much.
