Much needed win by the boys. Still 7 points ahead of the Wild with 3 games in hand and 8 ahead of Dallas with 2 games in hand. Still, the Olympic break can’t come soon enough. Gives some guys a chance to recover from any ailments, which is good, since when the squad’s fully healthy it’s a buzzsaw. Also it gives the coaching staff time to figure out the awful PP.

I’m betting Parker Kelly isn’t looking forward to the Olympic break. That guy is on fire lately.

New to this thread, but not hockey, or avs fandom (been watching and going to games since they came to Colorado)
January felt like the longest month ever goddang. Not sure how everyone else feels but I’m ready for some Olympic hockey.
I honestly don’t know a lot about most other teams but to me I think Mario Ferraro would be the perfect replacement for Girard. Had Gemini run some trade ideas and it spat out a scenario where we get Boone Jenner at 3C and Ferraro as the LHD next to Malinski with Girard going to Chicago for Donato and a high pick to facilitate the trade for Ferraro. Not sure if the cap works and I also think it overvalues Girard’s return… but that looks like a roster that go go deep to me.
