Regardless of how you feel about him, this is probably better than having to scramble to find a replacement. Continuity can be helpful
I’m ready to give him 1 more season where he can build on what we developed last season and hopefully incorporate some new (better) pieces. I think the continuity will be good for us.
If we don’t see improvement though, or see ourselves making the same mistakes made this season, I will be very vocal about moving on.
Yeah the was always the most likely scenario with Vegas.
He was never a real candidate to begin with, been saying it for days. Hiring him as HC would be a PR nightmare for any NFL team.
This is highly disappointing news, smh.
Not mad at it.
If the panthers get 10+ wins next season, Evero gets a HC job.
Not sure how any DC looks great when the prevent defense relies on Nick Scott
Everyone I know that *really* knows ball (did/does it for a living – I grew up with a close family friend as staff in a P5 college, and I spent summers in the field house) says Evero is *really* smart. Like outside of football smart AND football smart.
He’s hope it gets figured out, and we’re able to continue to build talent on the roster.
This could be a good thing, if he really wants a hc job, he will maybe now say to himself that he really needs to get locked in and be a coordinator for a top 5 defense to have another shot at being a hc. So lets see how this goes
He was always the bridesmaid in that coaching search.
Raiders fans rejoice
28 plus points a game will once again be given up by the defense next year. Amazed at the people that defend him.
This is probably his last season with us. After we win the SB next season he’ll be a prime HC candidate.
Is this not tampering?
This is for the best we get to keep continuity, we continue to add pieces and see what next year brings.
