I wish Raheem well. He’s a shit head coach. But he was a good guy that literally saved a kid from drowning and before his downfall that tarnished his reputation as a head coach he was a pretty well regarded defensive mind. Hope he can get back to that.
Shanahan is gonna be good for Raheem and also what Saleh was to the 49ers is not too far off from what Raheem brings to the table in terms of actual character.

I always wondered what the dynamic between Raheem and Kyle was post 2016 season. In 2015, Raheem moved to the offensive side, a side he had never coached to keep tabs and report back to Quinn when Kyle and Matt had their struggles and disagreement. And then after 51, Raheem was one of the only offensive coaches to stay with Quinn after Kyle, the Lafleurs, and McDaniel left. It’ll be interesting to see how this works.

The 49ers play in Atlanta in 2026. Suddenly that game just got even more interesting.
Honestly good for Rah – He’s a great guy, just not quite ready to be a HC and may not ever be – but he can be a really good DC
Rah is quite upset that he won’t have a big halo board to look up at in Santa Clara, like he did in Atlanta and LA lol.
Players seem to like him, so it’d be good for morale. As far as their defense goes though…
