The Most Realistic Chicago Bears Mock Draft & Offseason

After breaking down the salary cap, the most common question is, ok, how would you handle this offseason or how do you think the Bears will handle this offseason.
Who can predict everything perfectly?
But this is the path I think the Bears will take this offseason. At least something like this. I don’t love getting rid of DJ Moore, I actually think we’ll find a way to restructure him more, but some tough decisions will have to be made…

Let me know your thoughts. Let me know if this is something you could get around?

  1. If the Bears reach for Max Iheanachor in the 2nd round, I will be pissed.
He will probably be there when they pick in the 3rd round. If they really insist on drafting an OT in the 2nd round, Isaiah World or Blake Miller would be better picks.
Taurean York looks likely to be gone before the 4th round.
Lots of good Safeties in this draft, and if they wait till the 117th pick for one of them, they will have missed the boat.

  2. B-/C draft I am not a fan of strictly sticking to the senior and shrine bowl players.
Not a huge fan of DJ Moore trade… This will cost the Bears at least 1 or 2 more games next season.
If Ozzy and Max work at OT then trade for Wright for a top 5 pick package next season in hopes of getting a Jeremiah Smith in next year's draft.

  3. Nose Tackle who can collapse. LB who can cover in space and hit the box. Box Safety. Power RB. Starting DE prospect with Huge pass rush upside. 3Tech? Left Tackle competition. (Jude Bowry, BC coach is here, we know they like how BC develops O-Line. Day 3 LT who can compete with Veteran.

  4. I agree with you! However, my gut tells me you’re wrong when it comes to Hendrickson. I think DA did what he could and will keep pounding the table until Poles makes it happen. Your analysis is excellent though and I can’t wait to see what happens either way!

  5. Decent second round pick, I would have gone edge, but I like the offensive tackle you pick what's nice about his fluidity is that say he wins, I'll have tackle job in this year. But next year ozi comes back and he's just as good as he was when he went down.We neither good swing taco I don't my all pro left guard going out the left taco again. How mind the trade down the third round? But I think with this year's depth at de lineman, there are couple edges, I like the guy out of penn state, sutton.

I really question our interior lane depth, because we got lucky last year. Where our center in right guard, who have a history of injury, did not get injured. I don't want to roll the dice again. Like that cause I can see a situation where they both go down instead of taking that corner back. I would rather take pat coogan indiana center smart guy guard center flexibility and newman can play center cougan is a center. I'll give you some flexibility on dalman down the road.If he gets too expensive, cause he did, take a pay cut to come here.If the bears get a championship, he might go for big money.Somewhere else

  6. If we can sign a 1 year LT rental for an older guy, would much rather see a higher pick then Reiger at DE, as I don't think he is at all in the same category as Zion or Moore. Would rather rent an older LT and draft O-line later in the draft, as I don't think any rookie is starting at LT either way for day 1.
