I think I've asked this before, but how would you compare this system to the one with Fried, Soroka, Allard etc?
Trading Contreras was just stupid. I never wanted Sean Murphy.
Considering AA has traded 2 catchers (Lagiliers and Contreras) that are better than Murphy perhaps it’s best that Braves haven’t made big trades.
Trading for Bummer wasn’t awful, but extending Bummer was a terrible move.
If a GM wins just 54% of his trades he's a great GM. I'd say AA has surpassed that threshold in his Braves tenure. No GM wins every trade he makes. Fan bases only remember the bad trades.
Is there any news regarding a TV deal coming together? Kind of concerned nothing has happened yet on that front.
In AA I trust. We lost the Murphy trade, and lost some money on the kelenic deal, That’s it. Vaughn Grissom for Chris Sale AND Boston paid Sales salary. That should be a felony. Some bums and a catching prospect who has gone on to be a solid mlb starter for Matt Olson is another theft. Even if we don’t like the extension he won the bummer deal. None of those dudes did anything. Tyler Kinley, Pierce Johnson, HSK, Jimenez, and more pen pieces added and every one of them were good for ATL and their former teams have almost nothing to show for it. Don’t even get me started on 21… we have some completely out of touch fans trashing AA but I still love y’all.
Marcel ozuna is a brave in 26 mark it down.
