The falcons are guaranteed to win the division next year, if we stay healthy there is a home playoff game. I know the past is ugly, but it’s a new day for Atlanta football

I’m setting a reminder for next September to have zero expectations of a good season
I’m not, I’m not silly enough, I go into every season expecting complete and utter mediocrity
I get hopeful every year no matter what happens.
Someone the other day posted the 2016 Braves opening day roster and it’s a big yikes in hindsight, but before that season I looked at the lineup and pitching staff and thought “we could make a run” lol.
I think the only year from any of my sports fandom where I didn’t have any hope was 2007 when it felt like this franchise was sliding into the abyss, but then Matt and Smitty saved us.
I don’t have a lot of hope for 26, but I’m off my “drafting top 3” take I had a month ago.
