State-Run Media wants you to remember

  1. Is this trying to imply the White Sox had no money to spend and had to trade Robert to add anybody?

  2. Technically what he is saying is true. Yes they operate as a small market team and lie about budget constraints. But the saved money did lead to what he posted.

  3. It’ll never stop being funny how the White Sox Talk podcast had McGuffey and Garfein hyping up Machado and Harper back in the day to pivoting to how they aren’t needed and are overrated literally immediately upon Machado signing with the Padres. Obviously they’re Sox media, but it was laughable watching them try to justify it.

  4. If the goal is to remain a bottom 5 payroll team. If the goal was to win as many games as possible we keep Robert and make those signings and the Red Sox trade

  5. Been listening to old Boers and Bernstein and other score clips since terry’s passing and came across one where Goff and Bernstein are laughing at Keith Law ripping into Cuck on WST because Cuck implied any scout that Law talked to that said Robert might not be the end all be all greatest sure fire prospect ever had a personal agenda and were salty cause he didn’t sign with them

He’s Jerry’s Renfield, always has been

  6. I love Chuck on the Pre and Post game show, but he is such a shill. Podcast went to shit without McGuffey being realistic.

  7. The team wants a clear book, budding players that are up for extensions for the new ownership to make a decision, and set up Matt I up. All the moves and race to bottom salaries imply this.

  8. OK. This is lowkey snarky by Chuck toward the organization. You just have to be familiar with the animated Avatar the Last Airbender series to see it. *NOTE: DO NOT WATCH THE SUPPOSED MOVIE WITH THIS NAME. The live action series isn’t the animated series either.*

Chuck superimposed his face on the character of Joo Dee. One member of a group of brainwashed women sent out into Ba Sing Sa to integrate war displaced refugees with brainwashing of their own. Yes, this is a kids TV series.

Based on this, I’d say Chuck is well aware that what he is saying is a slap in the face of fans and he’s just letting us know, he’s not entirely on board with the company line, even if he has to post about the Sox.
