I genuinely don't know where to go from here but I do think that the coaching trio is tied together. Do you think Canales can survive an Evero firing or Evero survive a Canales firing?

I don't think so.

  1. I don’t even get this. We’re the only franchise that can improve from last year, show potential, make the playoffs, and still put our coaches on the hot seat?!

The defense was better than the offense, so god help us if Evero is the first to go.

  2. Can someone please give me the cliff notes from this video? I swear I tried my best but it’s over 8 mins long and 0 points were made in the first 2 mins, I just couldn’t hang on any longer

  3. I know we’re all unhappy about the Rams easily driving down the field and knocking us out of the playoffs, but can we take a minute to appreciate that our defense went from being the absolute worst in the league to what they were this season in just one year? We had a poor pass rush and were starting 2nd-string caliber ILBs all season, and yet the defense was what kept us in meant games that people said we would get demolished in (we would have won the 49ers game if the offense had shown up). That tells me that we have a good DC.

  4. Just imagine where the defense would be if we dropped as much money and round 1 picks on the defense as we did on the offense.

He used the weapons that were given to him and showed a huge improvement with ZERO pass rush, while the offense struggled all year to get first downs. You clearly keep the guy who improved their side of the ball.

  5. Evero isn’t a terrible DC, he just needs talent to execute his game plans. We still haven’t invested heavily in that side of the ball, in terms of bringing in youth in the draft, UDFA, and top tier defenders in free agency. We did more last season than the season before, and that helped us improve by 4 wins.

Gotta push the envelope this offseason. Lot riding on it.
