still upset about the fade TD against washington that the refs took back because of that BS penalty saying benedet wasn’t on the line
that being said, rome will be fine. even with his broken foot, he made a bunch of clutch grabs when we needed them
Thought we were gonna see his superstar breakout season. It’s okay though Loveland did that instead.
Before the bye: Trajan
After the bye: Nero

Dude gets open better than anyone else on the team. Really needs to work on his hands and ballfighting this offseason
Not entirely sure what to make of this yet, but saw these stats via NFL Researcher on X:
Caleb Williams completion percentage in 2025:
Overall: 58.1% (last)
Targeting Luther Burden III: 78.0% (2nd)*
Targeting Olamide Zaccheaus: 60.0 (43rd)*
Targeting DJ Moore: 58.8% (47th)*
Targeting Rome Odunze: 49.4% (59th)*
*Among 61 QB-WR duos with 50+ targets

That drop against the Rams was brutal and led to the 4th down interception. But I think he bounces back next year.
Im still all in on Rome. Hes got the talent, he just needs to get healthy. Get the foot right, and get him on the jugs machine.
Everyone on 670 seems to forget how good he was the first half of the season. He was on a top 5 trajectory.
He will be much better next year. His foot should be healed and back 100%. He’ll be making big catches. He’ll also be making some great blocks for the run game.
Don’t wide receivers typically have their breakout here in the third year?
It was beautiful
Rome will be awesome, but I think Burden will be a little better
I think one thing to know is Rome wasn’t Ben’s guy. So the idea he becomes a star here is very in the air. Supporting piece? Damn right.
But he’s ultimately a 50/50 ball receiver (who’s been honestly not great at them yet) now in a system that priorities route running and scheming open.
It also seemed clear by seasons end Loveland might be viewed as a Travis Kelce type of focal point for the offense. He just needs to stay healthy.
This gif is perfect 😆
Imagine if he just continued to build on the momentum. What could have been…
If Rome can take a step towards what we hope from him, it will make the receiving room bonkers next year. Like if he is playing like a legit #1, and Burden is playing like a monster slot receiver, and Loveland keeps ascending, look out.
I do have my concerns about Rome being able to become a real stud. But we’ll see.
He was on track for a record year in terms of Bears stats
tbh i could see LB3 fighting for WR1 if he commits himself.
